Abstract

Context:This research study focused on battered women oarticularly on their psychodynamic profile, which includes psychological needs, emotional tendencies and needs, coping mechanisms and future plans. This study also looked into the type of support, its extent and the support structures available for battered women.

Study design: Case study

Study setting: Camarines Sur

Study population: This study focused on ten(10) battered women who reported their cases to and sought the help of a certain government agency.
